Survival Condo Doomsday Bunker
An underground doomsday bunker may not be necessary for a pandemic, but when things really hit the fan, the ultra rich will most definitely want a place like this. Located in north-central Kansas, each unit in the Survival Condo starts at $1.1 million and are located below ground in a decommissioned nuclear missile silo, complete with all the amenities you’d expect from a luxurious apartment. Residents can use the heated pool with slide / waterfall, gun range, movie theater, gym, arcade, rock climbing wall, saunas and even a dog park.

This former Atlas missile silo descends approximately 200-feet underground and was built to withstand a nuclear blast. It consists of a 14-unit condominium and can hold up to 75 people comfortably, including staff who live in the silo. At full capacity with the owners and their families, there would be around 54 people, including 17 children ranging in age from 3 to 21. Owner Larry Hall is already in the process of transforming a second missile silo into massive luxurious underground cave, but each unit here is expect to fetch between $50-$60 million.

My family’s more comfortable being here. There is way more to do here, that is the other big thing. People can spend a week or two in their homes. You start getting three weeks, four weeks and they start getting pretty bored and you’re seeing that,” said project manager and owner Larry Hall.
