Ehang 184 Passenger Drone

Finally, the Ehang 184 passenger drone, first unveiled at CES 2016 back in January, is headed for mass production. Crafted from aviation-grade aluminum, composite carbon fiber and epoxy resin panels, this drone is strong enough to withstand whatever mother nature throws at it, given you don’t fly directly into a tornado. It’s equipped with eight rotors, two stacked motors – one in each corner delivering thrust and precise directional control, and tablet flight controls. The motors combine for a 142-horsepower output, while topping out at 62mph at up to 1,640-feet. Click here to view the first image in today’s viral picture gallery.
