Electric Mercedes-Benz eActros 600 Semi Truck
Elon Musk’s Tesla Semi might have already hit the roads, but the electric Mercedes-Benz eActros 600 isn’t too far behind. Power comes from two electric motors connected to a high battery capacity of more than 600 kilowatt hours generate a combined 536 hp as well as a peak output of 805 hp.

The in-house developed drive axle enables eActros 600 to achieve a range of 500 kilometers (310.6 miles) without intermediate charging, allowing it to travel significantly more than 1,000 kilometers (621 miles) per day. Once megawatt charging (MCS) technology becomes available, it’s planned to be retrofittable for the eActros 600. Currently, its batteries can be charged from 20 to 80 percent in just 30 minutes at a suitable charging station with an output of around one megawatt.

The eActros 600 stands for the transformation of road freight transport towards CO2-neutrality like no other truck with a three-pointed star. It is characterized by highly innovative drive technology that can offer our customers particularly high energy efficiency and thus profitability. This makes entry into e-mobility even more attractive for fleet operators,” said Karin Rådström, CEO Mercedes-Benz Trucks.
