There are numerous theories about the origin of the term “hot rod”, with the most popular being “hot” related to “hotting up” a car, while “rod” means roadster. One thing is for sure, the Erode 002 by Jason Battersby and Klaud Wasiak definitely puts a modern spin on hot rods. This sleek, all-electric concept has no roof, and features an open front / rear wheels, exposed suspension components, an LED light bar out back, as well as a set of red five-spoke wheels. “As for the interior, it looks like an amazing place to sit. For starters, there are two thin bucket seats with bright red seats. You may also notice a floating digital instrument cluster directly in front of the two-spoke steering wheel. The car also includes a small infotainment screen in the center of the dashboard,” reports Car Scoops.
