Ferrari KC23 One-Off Reveal
You’re looking at the world’s first and only Ferrari KC23, developed by the automaker’s Special Projects (SP) program and based on the 488 GT3 EVO 2020. Power comes from a twin-turbocharged 3.9L V8 engine making at least 591 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque, mated to a 7-speed sequential Getrag F1 transmission.

Unlike the 488 GT3 EVO, the KC23 sports butterfly doors that open vertically, similar to those found on the LaFerrari. Plus, both the front headlights and rear lights have been reworked, with the former boasting a 499P endurance racer look, which just won a historic Le Mans 24 hours race. Step inside, and you’re greeted with two snug Alcantara-trimmed racing seats, a button-covered steering yoke, and a panel of rocker switches for pure endurance racing. There’s no word yet on if Ferrari plans on selling the KC23 to one lucky owner after being showcased in their Maranello museum.

Sometimes Ferrari’s unique SP cars are never shown in public. In this case, the owner is keen to share his collaboration with the world. The KC23, the very pinnacle of Ferrari personalization, will make its first public appearance at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK July 13-16, before going on display at the Ferrari Museum in Maranello from August 1 to October 2, much to the delight of the Ferraristi,” said Ferrari.
