Fill Car Tires with Liquid Nitrogen
Military-grade run flat tires can withstand just about anything, but what about car tires filled with liquid nitrogen? Superkot wanted to find out so he did just that on his Mazda Miata and then added an in-tire camera to boot.

Before trying this experiment at home, just know that liquid nitrogen is an inert cryogenic fluid with a temperature of − 196 °C. When a tire is filled with this fluid, it becomes very brittle, so a tiny bump may be enough to cause one to deflate. This is without considering running the liquid nitrogen-filled tires on actual roads, where even the frictional force while rolling in a parking lot is strong enough to break them. Fortunately, nothing catastrophic happened during Superkot’s experiment.
