HMD Global has owned the Nokia Mobile brand since 2015, but it wasn’t until this year that the company planned to release their own branded smartphone. 91 Mobiles received an exclusive first look at the handset, which features the company’s new logo.
The IMEI database contains two HMD Global devices (N159V and TA-1585) that should be released later this year, including the one (N159V) you see above. No technical specifications have yet been revealed, although we can see it sports a matte black case and a hole-punch selfie camera in the front. We imagine it being on par with the Nokia XR21, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G processor with 6GB of RAM. If that is the case, N159V should be priced at or around $499.99 USD.
