Fisher Price Controller Hack Bluetooth Gamepad
We know it’s possible to play Elden Ring with one of these toys, and apparently, there are many more uses for the Fisher Price controller, including turning it into a functional Bluetooth gamepad. This game controller comes loaded with learning songs and lights, which means all of that needed to be removed first for this conversion.

This means keeping the original PCB and connecting it to a DFRobot FireBeetle microcontroller board Next, the ESP32-BLE-Gamepad library was loaded and the the proper pin-button combinations assigned in RetrogradeScene software. The result was a fully-functional Bluetooth gamepad that can be connected to a computer for some retro gaming emulation fun. One caveat: the microcontroller board took up the existing AAA battery slot, which means a new power source had to be added, and in this case, it was a lithium battery that can be charged via the USB-C port.
