Paul Harborne, from Sedgley, West Midlands, England, bought a rare 1960 Cadillac miller-meteor in 2010 and spent the past 3-years, along with $156,000, transforming it into the iconic Ecto-1 from Ghostbusters. He said: “I do get some weird looks when I’m out and about in it – people look at me like ‘what on earth are you doing’. You get all sorts of weird and wonderful comments, it has a good effect on people. Someone even asked us once if we were from the air ambulance service!” Continue reading for a video of it in-action and more information.

He adds: “Some people look at me like ‘what are Ghostbusters doing here’. It can be quite surreal. So many people see me going past and get excited, they’ll flash their lights or beep their horns. Sometimes people even get out of their cars at traffic lights, so many people come up to me and say ‘who you gonna call’. Taking it for an MOT is always interesting! My family thought I was slightly potty but we’ve had a lot of American cars over the years and we’ve always been the sort of family to have a go at anything.”
