God of War was finally released on Steam last week, and modders are already hard at work. DisablePP always wondered how Kratos would have looked as a younger version of himself, so what better way to do so than by removing the warrior’s beard? That’s exactly what they did, and the mod basically involved disabling the shaders for Kratos’ facial hair. As you’re about to see, it looks like an entirely different character altogether. It’s officially called the “Kratos No Eyebrows No Beard” mod, and unfortunately, HDR won`t work when it’s activated. Already bought the game on Steam? Just download this mod and then extract the files directly to the exe directory, and you’ll be ready to go. Despite the game being out for less than a week, there are already several mods, including another that remimagines Kratos as Carl ‘CJ’ Johnson from Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
