A Max Lens Mod 2.0 accessory offers the market’s widest 177° field of view at 4K resolution at 60 frames per second, enabling perspectives that are 36% wider when capturing widescreen video and 48% taller when capturing vertical video.
Its 5.3K video (Hero 12 Black’s highest performance setting) delivers 91% more resolution than 4K and an incredible 665% more than 1080p. Unlike its predecessors, the Hero 12 Black can now record audio straight from Bluetooth devices such as Apple AirPods, earbuds, headphones and microphones. You won’t need a gimbal either, as its HyperSmooth 6.0 technology features next-generation AutoBoost that automatically boosts video stabilization as needed. Available for pre-order today, with the camera hitting stores on September 13.
