California-based Russell Powell is a teacher and skilled artist who paints photo-realistic portraits of celebrities directly onto palm of his left hand, but what he does next, might surprise you. After completing the drawing, he stamps it on paper canvas to create a permanent imprint of the artwork. He calls the process “hand-stamping”; a tricky technique because he needs to work fast before the paint dries, and also for the uneven painting surface.
