The world’s first Hello Kitty-themed dim sum restaurant has opened in Hong Kong, and diners will be able to order from a menu of around 37 dishes, including these buns, which take 17 steps to make. Owner Man Kwong said: “Hello Kitty is more popular in Hong Kong than in [her native] Japan.” These isn’t your typical dim sum fare, as owner Kwong plans to “stick to all-natural ingredients,” rather than crammed with MSG and what not.
