Hennessey Performance took a 2017 Ford Focus RS and boosted its output to 405-horsepower and 425 hp of torque, all from a 2.3L EcoBoost engine – the stock boasts 350 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque. The Hennessey HPE400 package for the Focus RS is comprised of a reprogrammed ECU, a high-flow air filter, and a stainless steel exhaust upgrade with electronic dumps for a deep grumble. “Customers also get Hennessey and HPE400 exterior badges along with a Powered by Hennessey badge under the hood. The company hasn’t released any performance statistics yet. The stock Focus RS can hit 60 mph in an already-quick 4.6 seconds, and we’re sure that Hennessey’s extra 50 hp and 75 lb-ft of torque will bring that below the 4.5 second mark,” reports Motor Trend.
