Trucker Frank Dose from Schacht-Audorf, a small town near Germany’s border with Denmark, has built what he claims is the world’s heaviest bicycle. The body is made entirely from scrap metal for the body, while its two giant wheels were sourced from an agricultural muck spreader. Weighing in at a hefty 2,072-pounds, the entire project has cost Dose just a little over $4,600, which isn’t bad considering its behemoth size. Continue reading for more pictures and information.

“Dose has been building his bike since March. It sports tires that are 1.53 meters (5 feet) in diameter. It’s reportedly proved surprisingly easy to ride,” according to Popular Mechanics.
