Limited to 24-units worldwide and priced at $2.1-million, the Hennessey Venom F5 is powered by a bespoke Hennessey-built 6.6L twin-turbocharged V8 engine, named ‘Fury’, generating 1,817 hp at 8,000 rpm and 1,193 lb-ft of torque. This means that it can hit 62 mph in under 3-seconds, 124 mph in less than 5-seconds, and a top speed of 311 mph. Hennessey aims to validate the top speed on a two-way speed run using a production specification car and independently verified by the world-renowned experts from Racelogic using VBOX GPS data acquisition systems. The F5 aims to complete top speed testing in the first half of 2021 at the NASA Shuttle Landing Facility in Florida. Secondary top speed runs will follow an intense period of real-world development at Hennessey’s own testing facility, plus the Circuit of The Americas. Each one will be individually serial numbered and customized to the buyer’s liking to offer the most exhilarating all-round driving experience possible.
