Called the Hummer H1 X3, this is unofficially the world’s largest Hummer, standing 21.6-feet tall and approximately 3-times larger than the standard model. Its owner, Sheikh Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, currently has it on display at the Off-Road History Museum in Al Madam, UAE. However, this isn’t just a non-functional sculpture, but rather a real Hummer you can drive, powered by four diesel engines.
For anyone unfamiliar with the Hummer H1, it’s a four-wheel-drive utility vehicle based on the M998 Humvee and produced from 1992 through 2006. Originally, the Hummer H1 was intended for military use, but later on released to the civilian market due to market demand. It was available in three major models: a convertible-style soft top, a four-door hard top, and an “Alpha Wagon” body version. Even though GM stopped marketing the H1 in 2006 model year, AM General continued production of the military Humvee versions until 2007.
