ICON and Lennar have started construction on a community of 100 3D-printed homes in Georgetown, Texas that combine robotics, software as well as advanced materials. Each Lennar home in the Wolf Ranch community is co-designed by architectural firm BIG-Bjarke Ingels Group, and prices are expected to start from the mid-$400,000s.
These 3D-printed homes boast elevated architectural and energy-efficient designs that showcase the benefits of sustainability with the digital possibilities of additive construction. ICON’s Vulcan robotic construction systems come equipped with specialized software and advanced materials to build each home’s full wall system, including interior and exterior walls. Other features include a rooftop solar panel system, Ring Video Doorbell Pro, a Schlage Encode Smart WiFi deadbolt and a Honeywell Home T6 Pro WiFi smart thermostat.
- REMOVABLE BUILD SURFACE PLATE: Provide all-round protection to your 3D printer build plate and ensure consistent temperature throughout the build...

- RESUME PRINT FUNCTION: Ender 3 Pro can resume printing from the last recorded extruder position after suffering unexpected power outages.

We are very pleased to partner with ICON and BIG in building a first-of-its-kind, printed home community that combines innovative designs with sustainable features at an affordable price. Given the housing shortage that persists across the country, it has never been more important to innovate in order to find new methods of construction that will enable greater design flexibility and greater production at affordable prices,” said Stuart Miller, Executive Chairman of Lennar.
