The guys over at FliteTest was tired of small planes, and wanted to build something that would really stand out. So, they decided to build a 15-foot-long Star Wars Star Destroyer with insulating foam panels and three motor-driven propellors. A pair of servos enable one to adjust the flaps on the ship. Finishing touches were added to the exterior with Rustoleum spray paint. “Giant batteries were needed so we made this 8000 mah 12S pack! The battery link for this was sketchy, since the ESC’s didn’t have BEC’s, we wired up some AA batteries to power the servos of this monster,” said the team.
