It’s a treadmill, it’s a bike, it’s the Lopifit? That’s right, this bizarre treadmill bike hybrid, invented by Bruin Bergmeester, is similar to an electric bicycle, as in that the motor only turns on when the rider starts walking. Once it senses movement, the motor turns a drive chain at the rear of the treadmill, enabling you to reach a top speed of 17mph. To stop on a dime, you have two hand brakes ready to use a moments notice; the right lever disengages the motor assist and activates a rear disc brake, while the left stops the treadmill itself. Unfortunately, you’ll have to shell out a whopping $2,115 to get your hands on one of these. Click here to view the first image in this week’s things that look like other things gallery.
