Jurassic World VelociCoaster Universal Orlando Resort
Universal Orlando Resort’s Jurassic World VelociCoaster officially opened to the public on Thursday, complete with 360-degree inversions and a dynamic inverted stall that alone spans more than 100 feet of track. This heavily themed attraction transports Islands of Adventure guests into a dynamic environment inspired by the “Jurassic World” films, surrounded by beautifully detailed rock work and lush landscaping, and even an elevated watch tower.

Riders are surrounded by 36,000 square feet of elaborate theming, including a giant waterfall and lush jungle vegetation, before they are catapulted along 4,700 feet of pulse-pounding track, 155 feet in the air at 70 mph. The ride vehicles dash through the raptor paddock and hurtles at breakneck speeds, culminating in a spiraling 360-degree inversion, inches above the lagoon.

As the adrenaline builds and guests approach the load platform, they will hear a few reassuring words from Claire Dearing – and one final warning from Owen Grady,” said Universal Comcast.
