The eighth generation Rolls-Royce Phantom uses an aluminum spaceframe chassis, which is a version of the company’s modular “Architecture of Luxury” platform. It’s the first car to be based on this new platform, which will later be used by the Cullinan SUV and other future Rolls-Royce models. Klassen will build you a custom armored 23-foot-long version of this ultra luxurious vehicle for a whopping $3.3-million. Read more for additional pictures and information.
They extended the factory Phantom’s 148.5 in wheelbase to 189.8 in, making the vehicle 23.1 feet long. For VIPs, they also added B7 ballistic armor, complete with partition walls to keep passengers safe in case of explosions. Inside, there’s also an iMac-based multimedia center, a Bang & Olufsen premium sound system, ambient lighting, and iPhone control. It’s powered by a twin-turbocharged 6.75L V12 still making 563 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque.
