Another year, another flying car, but Klein Vision’s AirCar was something we covered years ago and it’s finally slated to go on sale in 2026. The Slovakia-based company has revealed images of the production model, a two-seat flying car that can hit 124 mph on land and 155 mph in the air, with a price tag around $800,000 to $1 million.
It’s been certified, flown over 200 test flights, and is being prepared for production, with plans to produce 100 units initially. The AirCar transforms from car to airplane in about 80 seconds and has a range of up to 1,000 km in flight.

The AirCar transitions from car to aircraft in approximately 80 seconds (down from earlier prototypes that took about 2 minutes and 15 seconds). This involves retractable wings unfolding, an extending tailboom, and a pusher propeller engaging for flight. The process is automated with the push of a button.
This current production prototype, the AirCar 2, uses a 280-horsepower engine (replacing the earlier 160-hp BMW 1.6-liter engine), boosting performance. It runs on standard petrol, with plans to transition to electric power when battery technology improves.
