With “The Batman” set to hit theaters next week, Switzerland-based Kross Studio debuts a new $100,000 USD Luxury Collector Set that consists of a 45mm black DLC titanium movie-themed central tourbillon watch and a light up Bat-Signal art piece. What really stands out is the miniature Bat-Signal that sits atop the central tourbillon’s oversized cage. Its surface allows light to filter through and lets you view the regulator below, which makes one revolution per minute.
The watch was engineered with a new version of Kross Studio’s in-house developed and produced caliber KS 7’000: the mechanical hand-wound 3Hz caliber KS 7’001, complete with a 5-day power reserve. You also get a domed sapphire crystal that arcs over the dial in a low profile that complements the rounded edges of the black DLC coated grade 5 titanium 45mm titanium case for a total 283 parts, each handmade and assembled on-site in Switzerland. Best of all, each one of these timepieces includes a functional Bat-Signal that illuminates any room.
- Features a true-to-life model car - a LEGO Technic replica version of the BATMOBILE, the iconic super-hero car, as seen in the 2022 movie
- There's lots to explore in this epic car model, with 2 light bricks included, plus an 8-cylinder engine with moving pistons and a spinning flame
- Other features of this LEGO BATMOBILE model car include front steering, differential on rear wheels, plus opening doors and hood
For Kross Studio, the timepiece design required an equal balance of ergonomic considerations and improved user experience. The unique D-ring crown, found on the case back, and the ‘Time Set’ push button, placed at 3 o’clock on the edge of the watch, maintain a low-profile to ensure a more comfortable wear than a conventional crown while also improving performance with a faster, easier winding and time-setting experience,” said the company in a press release.
