LA Pursuit Real GTA Chase Tanker Truck Los Angeles
What began as an ordinary Saturday night in Los Angeles concluded with a car pursuit fit for a Grand Theft Auto (GTA) mission. Two armed individuals stole cars, evaded police, and caused havoc in various areas.

The frenzy started at 11 p.m. in Lancaster, 60 miles north of downtown Los Angeles, with a simple carjacking. A Ford F-150 was taken at gunpoint from its owner. The victim refused to let the theft go and pursued the culprits in another vehicle. One of the carjackers retaliated by firing at the pursuer. No one was wounded, but it was evident that this was no average theft. The suspects were armed, menacing, and prepared to escalate.

The chase turned weird as it continued southbound on I-5. The stolen F-150 rushed into oncoming traffic, as police helicopters and patrol cars tried to catch up. The suspects discovered a massive white tanker truck near Sylmar. They rammed the semi, forced the driver out at gunpoint, and were now driving a vehicle that dwarfed everything else on the road. They continued their reckless dash towards LA, the truck’s size making the chaos on live TV even more insane.

The thieves then abandoned the tanker, which was impeding traffic, and carjacked another pickup truck—this time a white one. With police closing in, they moved on to Lincoln Heights and then Boyle Heights, where they made their final move. They swapped the pickup for a black automobile and vanished into the night before the cops could close the gap. The daring of their escape was as outrageous as the chase itself: two people outwitting a tiny army of officers across a large city.

Sunday and the suspects are still out there. Their identities and motives unknown. The LA County Sheriff’s Department is going through the footage and witness statements. The stolen vehicles—a Ford F-150, a tanker truck, a white pickup and a black sedan—tell the story of a crime of opportunity and panic. Each carjack was a calculated move to stay one step ahead. They were good under pressure.
