LEGO Architecture Sagrada Familia 21065 Set
LEGO has unveiled its largest building set, Architecture Sagrada Família. Set 21065 contains 12,060 pieces for a model that is more than two feet tall when completed. Standing over 24 inches tall, 18.5 inches wide, and 15 inches deep, the finished piece stands out on any shelf or table. Its scale is around 1:280 of the actual basilica in Barcelona.

The LEGO Architecture team, directed by Rok Žgalin Kobe, worked tirelessly on this project for years, and the results are impressive. Creating an accurate brick model of Antoni Gaudí’s flowing, organic forms and the ever-changing story of the Sagrada Família was a tough endeavor that required attention to detail to appear alive. The set honors Gaudí’s centennial in 1926 and depicts the basilica’s almost century-long history of growth.

The construction of the Sagrada Família began in 1882, and this LEGO set represents the same story. Begin with the Apse and Crypt, followed by the Nativity façade, which Gaudí completed before his death, and finally the Passion façade. Later stages include the stuning naves and Western Sacristy, six different towers, the Eastern Sacristy, and the Glory façade at the end. This sequence enables the builder to construct in phases and experience growth, and the modular approach means you can either finish it all at once or work on it in stages with friends, exhibiting the construction at various points in its history.

Light hits the inside of this model in an interesting way that resembles stained glass, thanks to translucent portions in a mix of warm and cold hues that fluctuate as the light changes. The columns’ texture comes from little elements that are properly organized, and small white figures stand in for the statues on the Passion façade. Various flower features exist on one side of the Portal of Mercy, and the tower apertures are creatively decorated with plates with tiny miniature “teeth” on them to simulate louvered vents.

There are no stickers in this set; instead, the delicate ornamentation is managed by carefully placed printed tiles. To cap it all off, a fantastic small nameplate finishes the base, and the complete display stands on a nice little platform with some good green touches to represent the neighboring plaza. This set is clearly aimed at adult builders who enjoy a good lengthy, focused task, and it is projected to take between 25 and 35 hours to finish, with the LEGO Builder app’s 3D instructions and all the usual bells and whistles to help along the way.

LEGO Architecture Sagrada Familia 21065 Set
This is the largest LEGO set to date (even larger than the massive World Map from 2021), and it joins other fantastic Architecture releases like the Notre-Dame de Paris set, but with considerably higher height and a more complicated, vertical design. Pre-orders began on June 4, 2026, and the set will be released on November 1, with initial availability on LEGO.com and in LEGO stores. A larger retail release is scheduled for later in 2027, so you may need to move soon if you want to be one of the first to get it. The RRP is quite high: $799.99 in the United States, £649.99 in the United Kingdom, and €749.99 in Europe.
