What if your TV or computer monitor could double as a virtual window? Meet the LG Forme display concept by KDM Plus. When placed next to your bed, virtual blinds can be closed or opened at the push of a rotating jog dial on the side of Forme. Or, it can be used to browse social media like Instagram Reels, Snapchat, etc., similar to the Samsung Sero.
The designers are targeting this display at the Gen Z crowd, but as you can see, just about anyone can find a way to use it, thanks to its easily configurable design. It can be set down horizontally on a flat surface to be used as a TV of sorts, while a speaker / stand is built into the top section, enabling users to set their headphones, smartphone or tablet down safely. There’s no word yet on if this concept will go into production.
