The second-generation LG PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier mask has more technology than ever, in addition to being smaller, lighter, and boasting a more efficient motor. It retains the LG dual fans that control air flow automatically by sensing the user’s breathing patterns to make breathing easier and more natural. At 94g, the mask can be worn comfortably for up to 8 hours, while its 1,000mA which recharges in two hours with the included Easy Charge USB cable.
Unlike its predecessor, this one now comes equipped with a built-in microphone and speaker that uses VoiceON technology. This means that users are no longer required to pull down or remove their mask to have a conversation. That’s right, VoiceON automatically recognizes when users are talking and amplifies their voice through the built-in speaker so listeners don’t have to strain to hear every word. There’s no word yet on pricing or availability, but athletes from Thailand are currently wearing them at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
