Keurig machines are known for their use of individual pods, and LG wants to revolutionize the way you make ice cream by using a similar system. Called the “LG SnowWhite,” this prototype personal ice cream maker uses specialized capsules that create delicious flavors and creamy textures that enable just about anyone to make frozen treats to satisfy their sweet tooth – from traditional ice creams to sorbets, gelato, even frozen yogurt.

Now the only thing that would be able to make this SnowWhite machine better would be the ability to add mix-ins, similar to a McFlurry, after the ice cream is ready. There’s no official release date or pricing information available just yet, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see it in stores by this holiday season.
- ADDED PROGRAMS: Unlock a variety of CREAMi frozen treats with 5 new programs.
- XL CAPACITY: Family-sized treats for everyone to enjoy. New 24 oz. CREAMi XL Tubs hold 50% more ice cream than the original Ninja CREAMi.
- DUAL PROCESSING: Use the same base to make two separate mix-in flavors—add candy to the top portion and serve first, then add cookies to the bottom...
Now I just hope LG adds some sort of smartphone integration in the future, because that would make my life even easier. I could just pull out my phone, use an app to tell the SnowWhite what to make me and in a few minutes, boom, I’d have ice cream waiting for me in the kitchen. Ultra lazy status achieved,” said Engadget.
