Racing life-sized LEGO go-karts is one thing, this 1:1 scale LEGO Ferrari 296 GTS can actually be seen in person at LEGOLAND Florida at the new Ferrari Build & Race attraction. It measures 15 feet long, stands 4 feet tall, and weighs in at nearly 2 tons.
This detailed model took 10 brick artists around 1,850 hours to complete and includes functional headlights, taillights, an illuminated license-plate, working driver’s door, as well as a real 296 GTS steering wheel. Even if a working engine was dropped in there, the racing seats are not very comfortable (nor safe) to say the least. After you’re finishing admiring the 296 GTS, you can then build a real LEGO race car and then test it out on three extreme race tracks.
