Marchi Architects built a house specially for the Renault Symbioz, which is an all-electric, autonomous and fully connected vehicle. The Symbioz features a cabin that feels like home and has been designed for autonomous motoring, as while on the road, it becomes an extension of the home. When parked inside the home, it doubles as a multi-purpose room. Called “House 33”, this single-story structure, located in Parigny, France, is fully glazed, but crowned with a metallic cylinder on its roof.
This home showcases the Symbioz at the heart of the living area to convey the feeling that the vehicle fuses living space and mobility. It’s designed this way to add an addtional room to the house, and uses its shape, color as well as material to give warmth to the architectural space. It can be integrated several ways, like an extra room outside, a living room expansion, or just a quiet room to relax.
