Mercedes-AMG GT Roadster

The Mercedes-AMG GT Roadster has officially been unveiled, and it’s available in two trims: the base with 469 hp, and GT C, which boasts 550 hp, good for a 0-60 time of 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 196 mph. Both models draw power from a 4.0L V8 biturbo engine, paired with an AMG seven-speed, dual clutch transmission. The GT C adds active rear-axle steering, active air management, AMG Ride Control sport suspension, and a performance exhaust. Click here for more pictures of the GT Roadster. “Both versions of the new AMG GT Roadster borrow the active air management system from the GT R. Vertical louvres behind the front fascia can be opened or closed by an electric motor, adjusting the cooling performance and airflow to need. The AMG Panamericana front grille features 15 chrome-plated vertical bars, underlining the company’s racing heritage,” reports Car Scoops.
