At first glance, this abandoned Mercedes MBUX seat pod concept looks like an amusement park ride vehicle, but it as actually created to showcase the 2020 S-Class interior ahead of the vehicle’s reveal. It was discovered withering away at a recycling plant in Atlanta, just outside of the company’s Sandy Springs headquarters.
Since this is a concept, you won’t find an engine, steering wheel, infotainment system, or wheels, so if someone does manage to rescue the seat pod, it could be repurposed as a mini man cave. How so? Installing some functional screens, a game console / PC, and plenty of mood lighting. There’s no word yet on if someone has already claimed it and at what cost.
