Unlike other famous artists, Esref Armagan was born blind and into a poor family. However his setbacks haven’t discouraged him from becoming a world-renowned artist, thanks to his special ability and unique painting style. While Armagan has painted portraits of world leaders and seascapes and has been featured in a Discovery Channel documentary, he had never before painted a car. Volvo designers flew him to their studio in Goteborg, Sweden where he met with lead designer Peter Horbury.
