The problem with many point-and-shoot cameras today is that they are jam-packed with features, so much so, that you can’t just pick it up and use all of its functions, without reading the instruction manual. Sony’s Alpha 16 is the complete opposite, as there are no buttons, just a large touchscreen display on the back that can be used to access any of the camera’s functions. “This touchscreen has allowed for the vast abundance of buttons that are usually found on a camera to be removed, leaving just the one button that’s located on the top of the device. Individuality plays a big part in the design, as the a16 is available in a range of colors, which are each complimented with a contrasting, speckled finish. The minimalistic design carries through to the device’s packaging, with just an outline of the product being featured on the corrugated cardboard,” reports Yanko Design.
