This modular MacBook Pro would consist of a base station, two separate touchscreen displays, and a physical keyboard. The two displays can be combined to form an extra-large screen, with the keyboard placed atop the bottom half to form a traditional laptop layout. Patent sketches also reveal a configuration that would make use of three displays, with at least one of them being used to show notifications or for web browsing. A third display can act as a virtual keyboard or input area for the Apple Pencil.
