The next-generation Motorola RAZR 3 may have leaked in one of the company’s recently approved patent filings, which is described as a “unitary pre-formed fascia tension at least two sides of an electronic device housing and corresponding methods and devices”. It was published on December 23, 2021 and the sketches appear to show a smartphone in which the housing is completely wrapped around with a flexible screen.
Besides the wraparound 120Hz refresh rate flexible display, it’s rumored to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, up to 12GB of RAM, 512GB of internal storage, a 48MP rear camera, 20MP under-screen selfie camera, and possibly a larger 3,800mAh battery, which improves upon the 2,510mAh unit found in its predecessor. There’s no word yet on pricing or availability, but it’s expected to be announced later this spring-summer.
