The Motorola RAZR 60 Ultra (known as the RAZR+ 2025 in the US) was unveiled today during the company’s “Make It Iconic” event. This premium clamshell foldable is packed with features that make it a standout in the competitive foldable market, where devices like the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Google Pixel Fold run rampant.
It’s powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, a huge improvement over the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 in the older RAZR 50 Ultra. It’s as strong as the top 2025 flagship phones, offering great speed for handling multiple apps, playing games, and doing AI tasks.

Featuring a 7-inch LTPO AMOLED foldable screen with a 1440 x 3120 resolution, 165Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. This is a slight size bump from the 6.9-inch display of the 2024 model and significantly brighter than the Z Flip 6’s 2,600 nits. There’s also a 4-inch LTPO AMOLED external screen (1272 x 1080, 165Hz, 3,000 nits) that’s fully functional, running apps like YouTube or Maps without opening the phone.

This device boasts a 4,500mAh battery (up from 4,000mAh in the 2024 model), which is larger than the Z Flip 6’s 4,000mAh and likely the Z Flip 7’s rumored capacity, supporting 68W wired fast charging (a full charge in ~40 minutes) and 30W wireless charging.

The back has two cameras: a 50MP main sensor (f/1.8, with image stabilization) and a 50MP ultrawide + macro lens, switching out the 2024 model’s telephoto lens. A 50MP front camera (up from 32MP) makes video calls and selfies look better, especially in dim light.

Running Android 15, the Razr 60 Ultra introduces a dedicated AI button (similar to Microsoft’s Copilot key) for quick access to Moto AI, which integrates with Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, Meta’s Llama 3, and Perplexity. Features like “Next Move” offer contextual suggestions based on screen content.

Aesthetically, the RAZR 60 Ultra retains its sleek clamshell form with premium finishes: Pantone Rio Red (leather-like), Pantone Scarab (suede-like), Pantone Mountain Trail (wood effect), and Pantone Cabaret (satin-like). Measuring 7.29mm thin (unfolded) and 199g, it’s compact yet durable with IPX8 water resistance and Gorilla Glass Victus. The hinge design allows one-handed opening, and the external display wraps around the cameras for a seamless look. Available May 15, priced at $1,299.99 USD.
