Nico Rosberg F1 Monaco Koenigsegg Regera
Nico Rosberg didn’t let his 2016 F1 championship winning season with Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport go to waste, as he’s still gets behind the wheel of very fast machines, like the Koenigsegg Regera. Powered by a hybrid powertrain that consists of a twin-turbocharged 5.0L V8 engine, paired with three electric motors, this plug-in hybrid hybercar generates 1,797 hp for high speed driving or 1,500 hp and 1,475 lb-ft of torque for everyday speeds.

whether it be the Regera’s unique hybrid system or its Koenigsegg Direct Drive unit and hydraulically actuated body panels, this vehicle pushes the boundaries of what we think a supercar should be. Most surprising of all? It has no transmission, as the Direct Drive unit has just a single gear that is good all the way up to its electronically limited top speed of 251 mph.
