NVIDIA AI Real Time eye Contact Movie Scenes
Remember the NVIDIA Broadcast 1.4 update a few weeks ago? Well, someone used its AI eye contact technology and applied it to movie scenes, and the results range from humorous to downright creepy. How does it work? AI automatically estimates and automatically aligns the gaze of a person looking at the camera, all the while retaining their eye color as well as blinking.

In the NVIDIA Broadcast 1.4 app, if a user looks too far away, the gaze adjustment stops and smoothly transitions back to your natural gaze direction. This means content creators will be able to read notes, scripts, etc. and still maintain their gaze right on the camera. It’s still in beta because NVIDIA needs to tweak the technology to recognize millions of eye colors and lighting combinations.
