This NYC house made from 18 shipping containers looks like something straight from the Blade Runner universe. It spans four levels and boasts cleverly stacked shipping containers create a slanted shape.
Assembling the home on the 25-by-100-foot corner lot involved placing three containers side by side and slicing them at an angle before they stacked them together in a manner that formed the four-floor home’s wedge-like shape. The 3,500-square-foot home features five-bedrooms, a home office, terrace, den, two driveways and even a garage.

This house is a treasure: sustainability, assembling simplicity (three days), elegance, comfort, a beautiful view and luxuries that invite the owners to share and be connected with other people, like the projection room, the huge fireplace, beautiful outdoor spaces and, why not, the large master bedroom bath tab. The owner’s decors look like there couldn’t be anything different, they fit and add value to the spaces with personality and respect for the spirit of the building,” said one commenter.
