Oculus VR Palmmer Luckey Anduril Industries Warhead Altius Drone
Oculus VR creator Palmer Luckey’s Anduril Industries is set to unveil warhead-equipped ALTIUS drones at the upcoming Association of the United States Army conference. Available in Altius 600M and 700M models, they both feature a modular design that easily enables one to swap out a variety of different warheads, including a munition weighing as much as 35-pounds for the latter.

The US Army is currently testing the Altius 600M for their “air launched effects” project, which is essentially a concept for launching scouting drones from a moving helicopter. These drones can also be launched from a fixed-wing aircraft as well as ground vehicles. Combine ALTIUS with the shape-shifting DRAGON drone and then you’ve got an unmanned military aerial vehicle to fear.
