Google’s Pixel Fold is set to get some competition from the upcoming OnePlus V Fold, the company’s first foldable smartphone. Rumored specs include a flexible internal 7.8-inch AMOLED 2K (1,900 x 2,100) LTPO screen, a 6.3-inch AMOLED 2K cover display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, 16GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage and a 4,800mAh battery.

Mobile photographers will appreciate its triple rear camera sensor array with Hasselblad optics including a 48MP sensor, 48MP Ultra-Wide module, as well as a 64MP telephoto shooter. Two selfie cameras – 32MP for the cover screen and 20MP on the internal display – should offer the ability to capture high quality self portraits. The smartphone should run the Android 13-based OxygenOS 13.1, while a side-mounted fingerprint reader provides quick and easy authentication. There’s no word yet on pricing, but it’s expected to be officially revealed in August during a New York press event.
