C SEED partnered with Porsche Design to develop HLR 201, the world’s first foldable outdoor microLED TV, and it may cost you upwards of $500,000 USD. At the push of a button, the seven panels that form a massive 201-inch screen unfolds in less than 60-seconds onto its own stand. More specifically, it consists of nearly 3-million microLEDs capable of processing image data over 100,000 times per second.
All of these microLEDs means that it can display up to 64-billion colors, all of which will be visible even under bright sunlight, thanks to its 4,000 nits of brightness. When not in use, the screen can be hidden away in the ground, while six coaxial speakers provide immersive sound for anything you decide to watch. There’s no word yet on availability, but interested parties can place a pre-order with the company now. This would pair nicely with the world’s largest Xbox Series X console.
