The problem with most curved smartphone displays is that there is an unsightly bezel, but Oppo has figured out a way to nearly eliminate this issue with their waterfall design. It features an 88° fold on both the left and right sides so when it’s viewed directly from the front, the bezels are nearly invisible. This display technology will most likely be seen on Oppo’s Find X successor, in which they compare it to. Read more for the comparison pictures and additional information.
Unfortunately, Oppo did not reveal any other information about the handset, and whether if the internals boast an upgraded CPU, battery, and what not. However, a leaked glass piece may suggest that rival Vivo is working on a similar display technology, possibly for its upcoming NEX 3 flagship smartphone. Whatever the case, you can rest assured that we’ll see Oppo’s innovative under-screen camera sooner than later on production smartphones.
