Students from the IED Istituto Europeo di Design S.p.A designed the Pagani ALISEA hypercar concept to pay tribute to the Zonda’s 25th anniversary. To maximize aerodynamic efficiency, there are very few vents, while large wheel arches give it a more aggressive stance.
Pagani’s original Zonda C12 made its debut at the 1999 Geneva Motor Show, powered by a Mercedes-Benz-sourced 6.0L M120 V12 engine making 444 hp and 472 lb-ft, mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, enabling it to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4.0 seconds. How much did it cost? A cool $325,000 USD, or $609,291 in 2024.
- This LEGO Speed Champions car model building kit features a buildable replica of one of the world's most iconic hypercars: the Pagani Utopia
- The toy car has features of the real hypercar: central 4-pipe exhaust, swooping bodywork, front grille, wheel arches and an engine beneath glass
- The cockpit of this LEGO race car toy can be opened to insert the race driver minifigure included in the set, with helmet and switchable hair

Result of the Thesis Project of the 24 students of the Master Course in Transportation Design IED Torino, Alisea is a splendid combination of the classic elements of the Zonda with a modern and sporty touch that pays homage to the heritage of the Zonda, 25 years after the launch of the model that redefined standards to new levels of style and performance,” said the IED.
