Pal-V Flying Car

PAL-V, a company based in the Netherlands, has officially launched its Liberty Sport and Liberty Pioneer flying vehicles, with pre-orders for the former starting at $399,000 USD. Both models are based around a custom Rotax engine that powers a dual-propulsion drivetrain. When put in drive mode, the vehicle’s propeller folds into the back, while the rotors are tucked up top. Don’t let its small size fool you, as it tops out at 100 miles per hour, and can switch from land to air in just 10-minutes. This isn’t something you can fly from home since it requires at least 590-feet of space to lift off the ground, with a maximum flying altitude of 11,480 feet.
