64 Bits teases a Palworld demake for the Nintendo DS that looks right at home on the handheld. One main difference in this version is that it takes a top-down view rather than a third-person perspective like the original, but as you can see, the demake just works.
The 2.5D sprites for the characters and backgrounds does somewhat resemble the Nintendo DS Pokemon titles, although the battles slightly differ. What we don’t see is if the Pals can also be made to work on farms / factories, nor if the player can sell or eat them.

This is the 11th demake in the series, where we take modern games and imagine them on retro consoles. This time, we’ve made Pal World for the Nintendo DS! There is a lot of inspiration from Pokémon Ranger, Black, White, Diamond, Pearl, basically all the DS Pokemon titles. But we also looked at games like Zelda: Phantom Hourglass and even a bit of Chibi Robo Park Patro,” said 64 Bits.
