Panasonic’s Travelvision CT-101 may be the world’s smallest color CRT TV, but it can still play Super Nintendo games, although a magnifying glass would come in handy. This was touted as a ‘pocket TV’ set back in 1984 and unless you’re wearing something that is massively oversized, we have a feeling you’ll need a backpack to carry the 1.3-pound device around.
Why would you need a magnifying glass? The screen measures just 1.5-inches diagonally and even came with a 1.3x magnification hood just for that purpose. Inside the box, you also get a car adapter cable, a rechargeable battery pack, AC adapter, headphones, an antenna attachment unit, and an A/V cable, which comes in handy to play SNES games. On the bright side, it does run on 8 x AA batteries. If you’re interested, they sell for between $200 – $600 USD, depending on condition, for a working unit.
