Photographer Clark Lupton mounted a 1984 Polaroid Sun 600 onto a drone and then added a 6kg servo to click the shutter button. What happened next are stunning aerial photos that would otherwise require one to be in a helicopter to capture with an instant camera.
If you’re unfamiliar with the Polaroid Sun 600, it was released in the 1980s and uses 600-type instant film. The camera itself features a 106mm f/14 lens, a built-in automatic electronic flash, an integrated light management system, a focus range of 4′ to infinity, and a shutter speed range of 1/3–1/200th of a second.
